The Senior Contract/Procurement Engineer plays a critical role in managing the end-to-end procurement and contract lifecycle across projects, ensuring the delivery of best value while maintaining compliance with company policies and industry standards. The role involves leading tendering activities, evaluating commercial and contractual aspects, and supporting project teams through effective contract administration. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to drive efficient procurement strategies, mitigate risks, and contribute to the successful execution of projects in line with business objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and manage tender documentation (RFPs, RFQs, etc.) for contractors, consultants, and suppliersLead tendering process: floating, clarifications, bid analysis, and recommendationsConduct commercial and contractual evaluations of bidsDraft, review, and negotiate contracts.Manage vendor prequalification and maintain approved supplier databaseCoordinate with project stakeholders to align on the procurement strategiesMonitor contract administration works, variations, claims, and change ordersEnsure compliance with local regulations, company policies.Track procurement schedules aligned with project master programSkills, Knowledge And Experience6–7 years of experience in contract/procurement within tier 1 real estate developers/contractor in EgyptBachelor’s degree in engineering (Civil, Architecture, or relevant discipline)Strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts and Egyptian construction practicesFluent in EnglishExperience with mixed-use or large-scale developments in EgyptMembership or progress toward RICS is a plusStrong commercial awareness and negotiation skillsExcellent contract drafting and interpretation abilitiesProficiency in Excel and procurement/reporting toolsGood understanding of construction methodologies and materialsStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsOver 42,000 people work for us in more than 700 offices all over the world.
