Senior Electrical Engineer

We have one of the largest dedicated team with decades of cumulative experience in sustainable design, fire and life safety, cost management, façade engineering, commissioning, building performance, waste management, environmental consultancy, carbon management and acoustics.Job PurposeSupport the successful delivery of projects by undertaking electrical engineering design and coordination activities. Deliver assigned project tasks and contribute to the development of practical, efficient, and compliant engineering solutions under the guidance of senior engineers.Qualification / ExperienceBachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.5-8 years of experience in electrical design engineering for building services.Strong knowledge and experience in UAE / KSA / GCC codes and regulations.Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP and electrical calculation software.Expertise in ASHRAE, CIBSE, NFPA, and local electrical building codes.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in electrical system design and optimization.GENERAL EXPECTANCYManage and supervise electrical engineers and electrical modelers for the assigned task.Coordinate and review the engineer and modelers outputs and QAQC procedures.Report to project supervisor on daily basis for alignment and progress update.Demonstrates sound technical knowledge and developing competencies within the discipline.Able to manage assigned tasks and deliverables with minimal supervision.Works effectively within multidisciplinary teams and proactively contributes to resolving technical issues.Demonstrates initiative, accountability, and a commitment to continuous professional development.ResponsibilitiesElectrical Design & Engineering Excellence:Prepare electrical engineering designs, calculations, drawings, and specifications for assigned projects.Develop and coordinate electrical engineering models and drawings using relevant software.Coordinate with internal disciplines, clients, consultants, and contractors to support project delivery and address technical matters.Prepare technical reports, schedules, and other project documentation in accordance with project requirements.Review contractor material submissions and shop drawings, escalating concerns or deviations to senior engineers where required.Participate in project coordination meetings and assist in identifying and resolving design conflicts.Monitor the progress of assigned tasks to ensure timely delivery and compliance with project objectives and quality standards.Support senior engineers in the delivery of projects and implementation of project requirements.Stay updated on industry developments, applicable codes, standards, and best practices relevant to electrical engineering.Ensure all assigned work is carried out in accordance with company procedures, project requirements, and applicable regulations.Stakeholder ManagementCollaborate with architects, structural engineers, mechanical engineers, and contractors to deliver integrated design solutions.Participate in meetings, presentations, and project discussions.
