The Senior Electrical Project Engineer will lead and oversee electrical design activities for building and infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with local and international codes, standards, and client requirements. Key responsibilities include developing and reviewing power distribution and low-voltage system designs, preparing technical drawings and specifications, and performing load calculations and system studies. The role involves coordinating with multidisciplinary project teams, attending client and site meetings, and providing technical guidance to junior engineers and designers. The Senior Electrical Project Engineer will also support tendering processes, review contractor submittals, respond to RFIs, and contribute to quality assurance and value engineering initiatives throughout the project lifecycle.Qualifications Strong practical knowledge in Electrical Engineering and Electricity, with the ability to apply fundamental principles to complex projects.Proficiency in Electrical Design for building and infrastructure projects, including preparation of drawings, specifications, and technical reports.Demonstrated experience in Power Systems, including load flow, short-circuit, and protection coordination studies.Hands-on experience in Power Distribution systems design, selection of equipment, and coordination with mechanical and architectural disciplines.Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.Several years of relevant experience in consultancy or engineering firms, preferably in large-scale or complex projects.Familiarity with relevant international and local electrical codes and standards (e.g., IEC, NEC, local regulations).Proficiency in industry-standard design and calculation software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, ETAP or similar), and strong MS Office skills.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with attention to detail and quality.Effective communication and teamwork abilities, including mentoring less-experienced team members and coordinating with clients and stakeholders.Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines, with a proactive and accountable work style.Previous experience in ISO 9001:2015-based environments and project management exposure
