The Senior Equity Sales Trader will execute equity orders across regional and international markets on behalf of institutional and high-net-worth clients, ensuring best execution, adherence to risk limits, and compliance with regulatory requirements. Responsibilities include managing client order flows, providing real-time market color, monitoring market news and price movements, and proactively identifying trading opportunities. The role involves maintaining and expanding relationships with buy-side clients, collaborating with research and sales teams to distribute trade ideas, and supporting primary and secondary market activities. The Senior Equity Sales Trader will also contribute to daily P&L review, trade reconciliation, and continuous enhancement of trading processes, tools, and liquidity access.QualificationsStrong expertise in Trading and Equity Trading, including order execution, market microstructure, and best execution practices.Solid understanding of Equities and Finance, with the ability to interpret market data, financial statements, and corporate events.Proven track record in Sales within equity markets, building and maintaining institutional and high-net-worth client relationships.Extensive experience in MENA equity markets; familiarity with regional regulations, exchanges, and trading platforms.Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; relevant professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CISI) are an advantage.Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with high attention to detail and accuracy under time pressure.Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English; Arabic language skills are a plus.Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced trading floor environment, make informed decisions quickly, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
