Roles & AccountabilitiesMonitor exploration initiatives across multiple basins applying integrated geoscience workflows, advanced technology, and basin modeling.Contribute to the company’s strategic growth by identifying, evaluating, and recommending new exploration opportunities.Support portfolio expansion through geological and geophysical analyses and participation in opportunity evaluation committees and data room assessments.Conduct subsurface mapping, volumetric estimation, and risk assessment for exploration prospects.Participate in field development plans, integrating geological and reservoir parameters to optimize recovery and production efficiency.Oversee the design and implementation of drilling programs, including well proposals, execution support, and post-drilling geological reporting.Ensure the integration of geoscience data with other disciplines (petrophysics, reservoir engineering, well engineering, surface facilities).Maintain oversight of geoscience databases, ensuring accuracy, standardization, and data integrity.Ensure full compliance with HSE standards, regulatory requirements, and environmental policies.Prepare and deliver annual budgets, work programs, technical reports, and project updates.Represent the company in technical committee meetings, peer reviews, and joint venture sessions.Develop and mentor subsurface team members to strengthen technical competencies and professional growth.Promote effective collaboration and communication within multidisciplinary teams.Contribute to cost-effective project delivery through efficient resource allocation and technological optimization.Support management in aligning exploration activities with financial and production targets.Skills & QualificationsEducation:M.Sc. in Geology or related Earth Sciences discipline (Ph.D. preferred)Experience:Minimum of 13 years’ experience in oil and gas exploration and field developmentProven expertise in basin modeling and integrated geoscience analysisTechnical Skills:Reservoir modeling and field development planningRisk assessmentGeological and volumetric analysisData management and interpretation software (e.g., Petrel, Kingdom, or equivalent)Knowledge of data science and machine learning applications (advantageous)Soft Skills:Strong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesExcellent leadership and communication skillsProficiency in English (spoken and written)Strong teamwork, presentation, and time management abilities
