Operating across all projects, this role evaluates operational and financial processes, identifies control weaknesses, and provides clear, actionable recommendations to senior management and the Audit Committee, ensuring accountability and supporting sound governance at every level of the company.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute a risk-based annual internal audit plan covering all business units and functions.Review and evaluate internal control systems and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for effectiveness and efficiency.Conduct scheduled and surprise audits across all departments, assessing both financial and operational performance.Identify control gaps, operational weaknesses, and financial risks; propose practical and actionable recommendations.Prepare professional audit reports and present findings to senior management and the Audit Committee.Monitor the implementation of corrective actions and management recommendations to ensure timely resolution.Assess compliance with internal policies and applicable local and international regulations and standards.Liaise and coordinate with external auditors when required to support audit processesRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.Minimum 5 years of hands-on internal audit experience.Preferred professional certifications: CPA /ACCA / CIACore SkillsStrong risk analysis and critical thinking skills.Excellent report writing and presentation abilities.Solid knowledge of governance frameworks and professional audit standards.High attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to work independently with strong objectivity and ethical standards.Strong analytical writing and synthesis skills.LanguagesEnglish: Professional (written and spoken).Arabic: Native or advanced proficiency is required.
