We're building a high-performing operations team to scale this product and set new market standards.───About This RoleWe're seeking an experienced Operations Specialist to lead the operations team for this new product launch. You own scheduling, team management, quality assurance, and continuous improvement for our pest control and preventive maintenance service. This is a hands-on leadership role—you'll directly manage technician teams, ensure compliance with health/safety standards, track customer outcomes, and drive operational efficiency as we scale from launch to multi-location operations.───Key ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership & Development:• Hire, train, and develop a team of 2-3 pest control technicians• Ensure technicians meet health, safety, and pesticide handling standards• Set and enforce quality and performance standards• Evaluate individual performance and identify skill gaps• Build a culture of excellence and accountabilityOperations Scheduling & Coordination:• Plan and schedule all field visits and customer appointments• Manage resource allocation and team capacity• Ensure on-time delivery and optimal route planning• Balance demand with available resourcesQuality Assurance & Customer Satisfaction:• Oversee field work quality and compliance with standards• Monitor customer satisfaction and resolve issues promptly• Conduct spot checks and quality audits• Document processes and maintain performance recordsMaterials & Tools Evaluation:• Evaluate and approve pest control products and eco-friendly alternatives• Approve suppliers and validate product quality• Recommend new tools and operational improvements• Manage inventory and procurement coordinationData Analysis & Reporting:• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports• Track key performance metrics (visits, customer satisfaction, team productivity, revenue)• Use Excel to analyze trends and forecast operational needs• Present insights and recommendations to managementProcess Improvement & Strategy:• Identify bottlenecks and opportunities for operational efficiency• Propose and implement process improvements• Collaborate with senior management on scaling strategies• Adapt operations as the product grows───To Apply: Send your CV and a brief cover letter Education & Technical Knowledge:Bachelor's degree in: Agriculture, Environmental Science, Public Health, Business Management, or OperationsOR 4+ years in pest control, agriculture, or professional service management with demonstrable technical competencyKnowledge of common Cairo household pests and control methodsUnderstanding of pesticide safety, application methods, and Egyptian pest control regulationsExperience:2+ years leading operations teams or managing field techniciansTrack record in launching or scaling new service productsHands-on experience in pest control, agriculture, or professional home servicesProven ability to build operational systems from scratchTechnical & Analytical Skills:Advanced Excel: pivot tables, formulas, data visualization, trend analysisFamiliarity with scheduling software, CRM, or field service management toolsStrong data literacy and metrics-driven decision makingAttention to detail in documentation and compliance trackingSoft Skills:Strategic leadership: hire, develop, and hold teams accountableProblem-solving under pressure with quick decision-makingExcellent written and verbal communication (Arabic and English)Customer-focused mindset with commercial awarenessAdaptability in a fast-scaling startup environment
