Duties & Responsibilities:Complete design of Piping General Arrangement, piping layouts, piping isometrics, Pipe rack Design, Piping Support selection, and safe span, Equipment's location plans, plot plans, orientation drawings, and Tie-in Index.Plant Layout Design and Study.Preparing Piping Material Selection Report.Valve Selection Based on Fluid service and prepare full specifications of valves including the selection of body and seats.Preparing Piping & Valves MTO & MRQ.Provide piping input to Process Piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&ID), Line designation table (LDT), and Instrument specification sheets (ISS).Preparing material take-off requirements and isometric drawings for construction using 3D CADD (Computer Aided Design and Drafting) modeling software e.g. PDMS (Plant Design and Modeling System).Preparing & checking Equipment Orientation drawings for all types of petrochemical equipment, considering equipment spacing, accessibility, and operation and maintenance requirements.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical (or equivalent discipline).Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in piping design, stress analysis...Proficiency in CAESAR II for stress analysis.Strong knowledge of piping design software (e.g., AVEVA E3D, AutoCAD Plant 3D, Navisworks).Deep understanding of international piping codes and standards (ASME B31.3, B31.1, ASME B16 series, API standards, ASME PCC-1).Familiarity with pipe support design, flexibility analysis, and constructability.careers@onspec.net
