Company Description GDG Consultant is an engineering consulting firm that provides specialized design and technical services for building systems and infrastructure projects.Role Description The Senior Plumbing and Fire Fighting Design Engineer will be responsible for designing plumbing and fire protection systems for various building types, ensuring compliance with applicable codes, standards, and client specifications. This full-time, on-site role is based in Sheikh Zayed City and involves preparing detailed design drawings, calculations, and technical reports, as well as reviewing and coordinating designs with other disciplines. The role includes providing technical guidance to junior engineers and designers, participating in design review meetings, and supporting value engineering efforts. The engineer will collaborate with project managers and clients to clarify requirements, respond to technical queries.Qualifications5 years minimum experience in Plumbing systems design, including water supply, drainage, venting, and sanitary systems.Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.Proven experience in plumbing and fire fighting design, preferably in building services or consultancy environments.Familiarity with relevant international and local codes and standards (e.g., NFPA, IPC, local building regulations).Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or similar BIM tools) and strong MS Office skills.Ability to work in Sheikh Zayed City,
