The Production Engineer will oversee daily production activities, ensuring that production is performed according to SOPs, technical specifications, safety standards, and delivery timelines.ResponsibilitiesProduction planningMonitoring workflowContinuous improvementOptimizing processes to increase efficiency and reduce scrapImplementing and maintaining quality control proceduresTroubleshooting production issuesDocumenting production data for continuous improvementCollaborating and coordinating with other departments to support new projects and ensure customer requirements are metQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Production Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related field.Solid knowledge of Production Engineering, including manufacturing processes and industrial equipment relevant to steel forming, weldingStrong leadership skillsStrong Analytical Skills and experience in Production Planning to manage schedules, resources, and workflow effectively.Proficiency in Quality Control practices, including inspection, testing, and adherence to safety and compliance standards.Effective Communication skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams, and supervisors.Experience in industrial or manufacturing environments, preferably in doors, metal fabrication, or steel formingFamiliarity with lean manufacturing, 5S, continuous improvement methodologies, and basic ERP or production management software.Ability to work on-site, manage multiple tasks, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced production setting.
