Job DescriptionOPSBA (Oil Products Storage and Blending Alexandria) is seeking a Senior Projects & Maintenance Engineer to join its Projects & Maintenance team in Alexandria.The role is responsible for managing maintenance operations and engineering projects while ensuring HSSEQ compliance, asset integrity, operational reliability, and continuous improvement across facilities.Key Responsibilities:Project & Maintenance ManagementPlan and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance activities for mechanical, electrical, and control systems.Participate in engineering studies, technical evaluations, and cost estimations for new and ongoing projects.Review technical proposals, drawings, and contractor submissions to ensure compliance with specifications.Support project preparation, execution, commissioning, and handover activities.Contractor & Execution OversightManage contractors’ performance in terms of safety, quality, cost, and schedule.Ensure compliance with contractual requirements, HSSEQ policies, and company procedures.Monitor execution activities and ensure proper documentation and reporting.HSSEQ & ComplianceEnsure full compliance with HSSEQ policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.Participate in safety inspections, audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations.Apply permit‑to‑work systems and support Management of Change (MoC) processes.Asset Integrity & ReliabilitySupport asset integrity programs, inspections, and corrective actions.Monitor equipment performance and reliability to reduce downtime and improve availability.Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to maintenance strategies and reliability.Reporting & CoordinationPrepare technical reports, KPIs, and performance updates.Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external service providers to ensure effective execution. Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.Minimum 7 years of experience in maintenance engineering and/or project management.Strong knowledge of maintenance strategies, asset integrity, and contractor management.Solid understanding of HSSEQ standards and safe work practices.Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.Good command of English.HSSEQ certifications are an advantage.Candidates must be based in Alexandria.
