Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare detailed quantity take-offs for electrical systems (power, lighting, ELV, fire alarm, etc.) based on drawings and specifications.Develop cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents for electrical works.Analyze drawings, BOQs (Bill of Quantities), and project specifications.Evaluate subcontractor quotations and prepare comparison reports.Monitor project costs and track variations, claims, and change orders.Prepare interim payment applications and valuations.Conduct site visits to verify progress and quantities installed.Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams.Ensure compliance with contract terms, project requirements, and KSA regulations.Assist in contract administration, including reviewing contracts and resolving disputes.Prepare final accounts and project cost reports.Qualifications & RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.5+ years of experience in electrical quantity surveying within construction projects.Strong knowledge of electrical systems and construction processes.Experience working in KSA or GCC is preferred.Familiarity with international standards and local regulations (e.g., SEC, SBC codes).Proficiency in software such as AutoCAD, Excel, and quantity surveying tools (e.g., CostX, Plan Swift).Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Key SkillsCost estimation & budgetingContract administrationQuantity take-off & BOQ preparationVariations and claims managementCommercial awarenessAttention to detailProject coordinationPreferred Certifications (Optional)Membership in a recognized professional body (e.g., RICS)PMP or equivalent project management certificationWorking ConditionsOffice and site-based role
