The Senior Sales Engineer will manage the full sales cycle for equipment and tools, from qualifying prospects and conducting technical needs assessments to preparing proposals, delivering product demonstrations, and closing deals. The role includes providing pre- and post-sales technical support, coordinating with internal engineering and service teams, and ensuring that client requirements are accurately translated into solutions. The person in this position will maintain strong relationships with existing customers, identify new business opportunities, and support the development of sales strategies for key accounts and market segments. Daily activities also involve preparing sales forecasts, tracking opportunities in the CRM system, monitoring market trends and competitors, and representing EEA at customer visits, site surveys, and industry events.QualificationsStrong Sales Engineering skills, including solution-based selling, technical presentations, and translating client requirements into engineered solutions.Proficiency in Sales activities such as pipeline management, negotiation, closing techniques, and account management.Experience in providing Technical Support, including troubleshooting, product configuration, and coordinating with service and engineering teams.Excellent Communication and Customer Service skills, with the ability to build trust, manage expectations, and handle complex stakeholder interactions.Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering field (or equivalent practical experience).Previous experience in industrial equipment, tools, or similar technical B2B environment, preferably in Egypt or the Middle East.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and a structured approach to technical and commercial tasks.Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with CRM or sales management tools; ability to prepare clear proposals and reports.Ability to work on-site, travel to client locations as needed, and manage multiple projects and priorities under time constraints.Professional working proficiency in English and Arabic, both written and spoken.
