ABOUT Kijamii:Kijamii is an independent, award-winning advertising agency driven by innovation and culture, with a rich legacy of over 14 years, operating regionally with offices in Dubai, Cairo and Riyadh.JOB PURPOSETo lead the creation and publishing of social media content across multiple brands, ensuring alignment with content strategy, platform best practices, and audience engagement while supporting team growth and content performance.RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:Editorial Ownership and Content LeadershipLead content development for key retainer accounts and high-impact campaigns, ensuring content is aligned with brand tone, platform best practices, and creative strategy.Act as a creative lead on selected accounts by guiding the editorial approach, suggesting content formats, and proposing platform-specific ideas.Review and support junior editors’ work when needed to ensure overall consistency and quality.Platform Expertise and Trend IntegrationMaintain a deep understanding of trends, formats, and emerging tools across all social platforms.Proactively pitch content ideas that are timely, relevant, and tailored to audience behavior and client objectives.Monitor industry trends and competitor activity and translate learnings into actionable recommendations for the team.Client-Facing Support and Internal CollaborationCollaborate closely with the Content Manager and attend internal or client meetings to present content plans and discuss creative direction.Contribute to the preparation of content decks and support in translating creative concepts into concrete content deliverables.Liaise with designers, copywriters, and video editors to bring content ideas to life with clarity and precision.Execution and Calendar ManagementOwn the end-to-end content publishing process for assigned accounts: planning, scheduling, live posting (when needed), and performance tracking.Maintain accurate publishing calendars, ensure deadlines are met, and flag any content delays or risks early.Provide input on monthly content planning and help balance workload distribution within the team.Performance Tracking and Content OptimizationAnalyze performance of individual posts and formats and share insights with the Content Manager to inform future planning.Experiment with formats and posting strategies to increase engagement and reach.Offer constructive feedback to junior team members to enhance their performance and platform understanding.Team Mentorship and Department ContributionAct as a point of contact for junior editors seeking support on execution or platform challenges.Help onboard new editors and contribute to knowledge sharing and team growth.Take initiative in improving workflows, documentation, and editorial guidelines in collaboration with the Content Manager.SPECIFICATIONS:Education Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Media Studies, or related fieldExperience 3-5 years of proven experience in content strategy or content creation, preferably within agency or entertainment/media environmentsSkills • Strong content creation, storytelling, and copywriting skills• Ability to lead content projects and mentor team members• Deep understanding of social media platforms, trends, and audience behavior• Creative mindset with a strong eye for culture, content, and design• Proficient in English and Arabic with excellent communication skills• Confident in pitching ideas and collaborating with stakeholders• Ability to use performance insights to improve contentThis position is open until June, 14 2026Placement is based on the candidate’s experience and skills.
