We are looking for a Senior Software Backend Engineer who will take ownership of complex backend systems, lead technical initiatives, and mentor other engineers.This role focuses on scalability, performance, and reliability across payment-driven platforms.Roles and ResponsibilitiesLead the design and development of scalable backend services using PHP and LaravelOwn complex backend features from design through productionArchitect and optimize transaction-heavy systems for performance and reliabilityDrive best practices in code quality, testing, and system designLead and participate in code reviewsMentor junior and mid-level engineersCollaborate with product, engineering, and leadership teams on technical decisionsImprove backend architecture, security, and observabilityEnsure backend systems support high availability and growthMaintain high-quality technical documentation
