Learn more at www.dar.com.Job Summary:We are seeking a Senior Sustainability Consultant with 4-6 years of experience to lead sustainability services across building and masterplan projects.The successful candidate will manage sustainability certifications, develop sustainability strategies, lead technical studies, provide project-level sustainability leadership, and support business development initiatives while mentoring junior team members.This position requires strong technical expertise, project management capabilities, and client-facing experience.Responsibilities:Lead sustainability consulting assignments for buildings, communities, and masterplan developments.Develop project sustainability visions, targets, and implementation strategies.Manage LEED, Mostadam, WELL, and other certification programs from project inception through certification.Lead sustainability workshops, charrettes, and stakeholder engagement sessions.Conduct technical reviews and provide sustainability guidance to multidisciplinary design teams.Lead sustainability reporting, certification submissions, and compliance documentation.Manage project sustainability deliverables, schedules, budgets, and quality control.Perform and oversee sustainability studies and environmental performance analyses.Mentor and support junior sustainability professionals.Contribute to proposal development, client presentations, and business development activities.Support ESG, net-zero carbon, climate resilience, and sustainability advisory services.Maintain awareness of emerging sustainability regulations, standards, and market trends.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Sustainability, Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, Urban Planning, Building Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline.4-6 years of relevant professional experience in sustainability consulting.Demonstrated experience delivering sustainability services on large-scale building, masterplan and infrastructure projects.Proven experience managing sustainability certification projects.Strong technical report-writing and presentation skills.Experience coordinating multidisciplinary project teams.Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and client relationships.Ability to support and manage junior team members.Preferred Skills and Experience:Sustainability Certifications:Demonstrated experience managing LEED, Mostadam, WELL, BREEAM, SITES, Envision, or equivalent certification projects.Strong understanding of regional and international sustainability frameworks.Sustainability Strategy and Advisory:Sustainability strategy development.ESG strategy and sustainability reporting (preference).Net-zero carbon and decarbonization planning.Climate resilience and adaptation planning.Sustainable community and district-scale sustainability planning.Sustainability Analysis and Technical Studies:Advanced energy simulation and performance optimization.Building energy benchmarking and audits.Carbon footprint assessments and carbon management strategies.Embodied carbon quantification and reduction strategies.Water balance modelling and integrated water management.UTCI analysis and outdoor thermal comfort modelling.Daylight analysis and visual comfort assessments.Shading analysis and urban microclimate studies.Renewable energy integration and feasibility studies.Life-cycle assessment (LCA) and circular economy assessments.Energy Transition and Industrial Sustainability:(Aligned with emerging market demand and sectors such as energy, industry, and giga-projects)Energy transition strategies.Renewable energy integration.Hydrogen and green fuels.Carbon Capture, Utilization and Storage (CCUS).Industrial decarbonization.Asset lifecycle carbon management.Sustainable infrastructure planning.Resource efficiency and materials optimization.Digital Tools:Advanced proficiency in one or more of:IES VERhino / GrasshopperLadybug ToolsOne-click LCAEnergyPlusProfessional Credentials:Highly desirable:Mostadam APLEED AP BD+C / ND / O+MWELL APCertified Energy Manager (CEM)ENV SPEstidama PQPRelevant master's degree in Sustainability, Environmental Engineering, Building Performance, or related discipline.** While we carefully review all applications, only candidates meeting the specified requirements will be contacted for further consideration.
