A Snapshot of Your DayAs a Shift Engineer at Siemens Energy, you will be at the forefront of ensuring the seamless operation of our power plant, targeting candidates with a strong technical background in engineering and experience in power plant maintenance. You will engage in meaningful projects that involve monitoring and controlling plant equipment, executing critical shutdown and start-up procedures, and responding to emergencies, all of which contribute to maintaining optimal plant performance and supporting Siemens Energy’s mission of sustainable energy solutions. Expect to be part of a collaborative team culture that values problem-solving, leadership, and continuous improvement, where your contributions directly impact our clients and partners.How You’ll Make An ImpactContinuously monitor and control all plant equipment.Respond promptly to alarms and take appropriate actions.Execute plant shutdown and start-up procedures within allocated timeframes.Follow processes and utilize technical documentation for efficient operations.Manage emergency situations effectively.Utilize the WebBFS system for shift logs, fault notifications, and work orders.What You BringBachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Power Engineering, or related fields.Preferred experience in combined cycle power plant maintenance.Comprehensive knowledge of power plant operations and emergency decision-making.In-depth understanding of gas turbine power plant maintenance.Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in digital tools, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook, along with good communication and organizational abilities.About the Team:Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators.
