Special Cables Specialist

Job Purpose Leads the scheduling and execution of the Special Cables production program, monitors on-field production performance, supports the execution team in resolving issues, ensures organization and cleanliness of work areas, and develops/implements production projects, processes, procedures, instructions, and systems to achieve Special Cables objectives.Job Accountabilities Organization & Process ImplementationImplements the Special Cables unit organization, policies, processes, procedures, instructions, visual aids, information systems, and cross-functional improvement projects in line with corporate standards.Production SchedulingLeads and conducts scheduling activities in coordination with the logistics department. Analyzes production programs, develops detailed schedules, and allocates production orders.Program Monitoring & OptimizationMonitors daily production program progress. Updates schedules as needed to ensure product availability, optimize production time, maintain quality, and minimize scrap of insulated wire.Data Review & Problem SolvingCollects and reviews production data, including process parameters, changeover/start-up results, wire breaks, control plans, and scrap reports. Identifies discrepancies and proposes/implements immediate corrective actions using Fast Problem-Solving techniques.Shop Floor SupportClosely follows up on production execution on the shop floor. Diagnoses reported problems (repairs, wire breaks, work area organization, 5S compliance). Supports the production team in deploying corrective actions and monitors their effectiveness.Maintenance & Equipment OversightReviews first- and second-level maintenance activities of the Special Cables line and related equipment. Participates in developing terms of reference for new equipment and tools acquisition.Performs technical validation of newly acquired equipment and tools.Performance Monitoring & Continuous ImprovementReviews Special Cables KPIs. Proposes and implements continuous improvement plans for processes, procedures, and systems to meet unit and company objectives.Team Development & ComplianceContributes to the development of the Special Cables team through technical performance evaluation, training, and coaching. Ensures compliance with Quality and EHS system requirements, corporate values, code of conduct, and non-disclosure agreements.
