Information Technology Engineer

IT Engineer/SpecialistJob PurposeLeads the maintenance and operations of the plant’s IT infrastructure—including servers, networks, and security systems—while ensuring acceptable service levels and infrastructure availability to support business continuity. Provides service desk support and manages IT service operations, including daily activities and the physical IT environment, to achieve departmental objectives.Job AccountabilitiesNetwork & Infrastructure Administration Coordinates and supports the administration, maintenance, and security of the plant’s network and system infrastructure. Performs routine configuration, installation, documentation, administration, and maintenance of IT systems, databases, network hardware, software, and related peripherals.Infrastructure Planning & Upgrades Plans and oversees infrastructure implementations, upgrades, and replacements/retirements to meet business requirements and IT standards. Identifies and provides the technical resources needed to support ongoing IT infrastructure operations.Infrastructure Monitoring & Control Monitors and controls IT infrastructure and services, including day-to-day tasks related to operating infrastructure components and applications. Ensures timely and reliable execution of operational logs, reports, and facilities management tasks.Service Operations Management Performs service operation activities including event and access control management and fulfills service requests to ensure effective and efficient IT service delivery.Incident Management Oversees incident management, including first-line investigation and diagnosis, log analysis, and incident resolution. Escalates issues to business applications supervisors as needed, follows up on resolutions, keeps requestors informed, and conducts customer/user satisfaction callbacks and surveys.Problem Management Oversees the IT problem management process, including recurrent incident analysis, root cause analysis, definition and implementation of action plans, and verification of corrective action effectiveness.KPIs & Continuous Improvement Prepares, communicates, and reviews IT KPIs and defines continuous improvement plans for processes, procedures, and systems to meet departmental and company objectives.Compliance Complies with Quality and EHS system requirements as well as corporate values, the code of conduct, and confidentiality (NDA) obligations.Qualifications:Bachelor's in engineering (Computer Science)3 years of Experience, preferable in Manufacturing Field10th of Ramadan Residence is a plus
