Sr. Accountant - Chemical

Senior Accountant – Chemical IndustryWe are currently hiring a Senior Accountant to join a leading company within the Chemical industry.📍 Location: Egypt🔹 Key ResponsibilitiesAccounts Payable:Run AP reports from the system and ensure supplier payments are processed on timeFollow up with departments to obtain required approvals before processing paymentsConfirm IC balances on monthly / quarterly / annual basisResolve vendor billing discrepanciesPerform monthly AP reconciliation to Trial BalanceTreasury:Handle all bank transactions including payments, Form 4, taxes, and customs payments through banking portalsRecord customer collections and match against sales invoicesReport collection deviations to Sales / CS and Finance teamsReview monthly bank reconciliations and record bank chargesReview and process employee expense and advance settlements according to company policiesPrepare monthly and quarterly cash flow forecastsSupport compliance with Group Treasury policiesInventory & Costing:Coordinate with Logistics on inventory costing validation before system postingMonitor inventory additions and releasesHandle inventory cost corrections and stock adjustmentsParticipate in quarterly and annual physical inventory countsReview purchasing costs and shipment costingMonitor cost equations and highlight discrepancies immediately🔹 RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fieldStrong experience in AP, Treasury, Inventory, and Cost AccountingPrevious experience within Chemical / Manufacturing industry is highly preferredStrong ERP system knowledge and advanced Excel skillsStrong analytical, reconciliation, and reporting skillsGood communication and coordination abilities🔹 Skills & CompetenciesAttention to detailProblem-solving mindsetStrong organizational skillsAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlinesTeam player with strong follow-up skills
