This role is responsible for designing, reviewing, and approving scaffolding layouts and calculations to ensure safe access solutions for construction and maintenance activities. The Sr. Scaffolding Engineer will oversee scaffold erection, modification, and dismantling, conduct site inspections, and verify compliance with safety standards, regulations, and company procedures. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating with project managers and site supervisors, preparing technical documentation and method statements, conducting risk assessments, and training site teams on safe scaffold use and fall protection. The role also involves troubleshooting site issues, optimizing scaffolding designs for efficiency, and supporting continuous improvement in scaffolding practices across projects.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong scaffolding design and supervision skills, including Scaffolding planning, load calculations, and compliance with relevant standards.Candidates should possess safety-related competencies such as Working at Height, Fall Protection, and Confined Space awareness and implementation.Candidates should possess recognized industry certifications such as CSCS or equivalent scaffolding and construction safety credentials.Candidates should possess solid knowledge of construction processes, structural concepts, and site coordination in medium to large-scale projects.Relevant engineering degree or technical diploma in civil, structural, or construction engineering, or equivalent experience in scaffolding engineering.Experience in leading site teams, conducting technical audits, and delivering safety and technical training is highly beneficial.Strong communication, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary project stakeholders.
