As a Stewarding Attendant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen and dining areas, ensuring a smooth operation and exceptional guest experience.Operate and maintain dishwashing machines, ensuring proper detergent levels and water temperatureClean, sanitize, and organize kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining wareAssist in polishing silverware and copperware as neededMaintain a clean, tidy, and dry work area at all timesSupport the kitchen team during banquet events by washing dishes and managing high-volume periodsImplement proper procedures for handling machinery, including wearing appropriate safety gearSet up decoy systems for soiled dishes and prepare detergent solutions for cutlery soakingReport any damaged or faulty equipment to the Steward SupervisorEnsure compliance with sanitation and hygiene standards in all tasksCollaborate with kitchen and dining staff to maintain an efficient workflowQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent (preferred)Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably in a hotel or restaurant settingProficiency in English, with good reading, writing, and oral communication skillsKnowledge of proper sanitation and hygiene practices in food service environmentsPhysical stamina and ability to stand for extended periodsExcellent attention to detail in cleaning and maintaining equipmentAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced environmentStrong team player with a positive attitudeFlexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidaysBasic understanding of kitchen operations and food safety principlesAbility to follow instructions and adhere to standard operating proceduresProficiency in additional languages is a plusAdditional InformationOur Commitment To Diversity & InclusionWe are an inclusive company and our ambition is to attract, recruit and promote diverse talent.
