You will support the design, assessment, and integrity of offshore structures, carrying out a range of pre-service and in-service analyses for offshore jacket platforms.What will you be doing?Perform structural analyses for offshore jacket platforms, including pre-service assessments (lift, tow, and loadout) and in-service assessments (global in-place, fatigue, seismic, and pushover analyses).Prepare engineering calculations and assessments to support the strengthening and life extension of ageing offshore structures.Produce, review, analyse, and interpret technical data, ensuring accuracy, quality, and consistency across project deliverables.Prepare technical reports, calculations, and engineering notes to support project execution and client requirements.Undertake complex analytical work and develop engineering spreadsheets, models, and databases to support structural assessments.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative engineering solutions and resolve technical challenges.Liaise with clients and internal stakeholders to support successful project delivery and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.Attend project and client meetings, providing technical input and supporting senior engineers and managers as required.Ensure all work is delivered in accordance with project requirements, company procedures, and agreed timelines.Maintain accurate project records and engineering documentation, including analysis logs and calculation files.Support the development of junior team members through knowledge sharing, mentoring, and technical guidance.Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, helping to enhance engineering processes, tools, and ways of working.Promote and comply with all Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental (QHSE) policies, procedures, and regulations across company and client sites.Undertake other duties and responsibilities as reasonably required.What are we looking for?Ideally, You Will Possess Structural Engineering Experience, Preferably Within The Offshore Oil & Gas, Marine, Or Energy Sectors. We Are Happy To Consider Candidates Who Have Worked On The Design Of Shore-based Steel Structures And Have Experience Using STAAD Pro. More Specifically, We Are Looking For The FollowingDegree qualified in Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant industry experience.Minimum 7 years of structural engineering experience.Proficient in Bentley SACS and Microsoft Office applications.Strong understanding of offshore structural engineering principles and industry standards, including API and DNV codes and recommended practices.Experience carrying out structural assessments and applying recognised engineering methods, tools, and techniques.Fluent in English.
