Position Summary:The Lead Structural Engineer- Steel will oversee steel‐structure design across large‐scale power generation and infrastructure projects in Egypt and the GCCResponsibilities:Lead analysis and detailed design of steel frames, trusses, slabs, beams, columns, pipe racks, equipment pedestals, transformer foundations, and industrial buildings.Define and continuously refine parametric and generative design frameworks to optimize steel member layouts, connection details, and material use.Oversee digital-twin simulations and advanced finite-element analyses to predict structural performance under operational, seismic, and climate-change-driven loadsMentor Lead, Senior, and Junior engineers through structured coaching, technical workshops, and innovation hackathons.Establish steel-design methodology, QA/QC processes, and standardized templates.Allocate resources and mentor Senior and Junior steel engineers to meet project deliverables.Approve final design packages, enforcing client specs, local codes, and international standards.Partner with the Commercial team on bid strategy, risk registers, and pricing assumptions.Lead value-engineering sessions to optimize steel tonnage and connection methods.Representing the company in technical meetingsQualifications & Job Requirements:14+years of steel structure design experience in energy, Industrial ProjectsBachelor’s degree in civil/ structural engineeringMaster’s degree in structural engineering will be a plus.Proven leadership of multi-project design teams.Registered engineer with the Egyptian Engineers Syndicate or equivalent professional
