Job Purpose:The IT System Administrator is responsible for managing, maintaining, and supporting the organization’s IT infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, security, and reliability. This includes overseeing servers, networks, and systems, troubleshooting technical issues, implementing upgrades, and ensuring data integrity and system availability.Job Responsibilities:Install, configure, and maintain windows and linux servers.Monitor server performance, troubleshoot issues and optimize resources.Administer Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Exchange and file servers.Apply software patches, updates, and system upgrades.Maintain backups and assist in disaster recovery procedures.Support virtualization platforms (Hyper-V, VMware) and cloud services.Collaborate with network and cybersecurity teams on IT projects.Explore and implement new technologies to improve IT infrastructure.Job Requirements:Bachelor`s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or any relevant field.2 to 4 years of experience in server administration.Hands on experience with Windows/Linux server management, virtualization and cloud environments.Strong Problem solving and troubleshooting skills.Strong Communication skills and team work abilities.Attention to details and proactive approach.Adaptability and eagerness to learn new technologies.Customer focus mindset for end-user support.
