Job Summary:Support the Talent Acquisition Section Head by executing end-to-end recruitment activities for the assigned hiring requests. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will focus on sourcing, screening, and coordinating candidates—particularly for engineering roles—while maintaining recruitment data and reports, delivering a strong candidate experience, and helping meet hiring timelines and quality targets.Key ResponsibilitiesReceive and action hiring requests from the Talent Acquisition Section Head and translate role requirements into sourcing plans.Source candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, industry networks, referrals, and targeted outreach with emphasis on construction, consulting, and contracting sectors.Screen and assess CVs and conduct initial phone interviews to evaluate technical fit, experience, and cultural alignment for engineering positions.Coordinate interviews with hiring managers and Section Head, manage feedback loops.Maintain recruitment records and produce regular status updates and candidate pipelines for the Section Head.Manage candidate experience by communicating timelines, providing role information, and ensuring timely feedback.Support employer branding activities and campus or industry outreach when required.Assist with ad hoc HR tasks related to recruitment projects, reporting, and process improvements as assigned by the Section Head.Required Qualifications:Experience: 1–3 years in recruitment, talent acquisition.Industry background: Experience recruiting for construction, consulting, or contracting companies is strongly preferred.Demonstrable knowledge of hiring engineering positions including civil, mechanical, electrical, structural, or project engineering roles.Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field preferred.Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems and MS Office; experience with LinkedIn Recruiter or similar sourcing tools.Skills and Competencies:Boolean search, passive candidate outreach, and targeted industry sourcing.Comfortable screening technical CVs and asking role-relevant questions for engineering hires.Clear, professional verbal and written communication with candidates and stakeholders.Organization: Strong time management, ability to manage multiple requisitions and meet deadlines.Ability to take direction from the Section Head and collaborate with hiring managers.Accurate record keeping and follow-through on recruitment steps.Handle confidential candidate and hiring information with integrity.
