Tax Accountant

Job SummaryThe Tax Accountant will be responsible for preparing,reviewing, and submitting tax returns and related reports while ensuringcompliance with applicable tax laws and regulations. The role requires strongattention to detail, solid accounting knowledge, and the ability to analyzefinancial data, support audits, and provide accurate tax reporting withindeadlines.Key Responsibilities·Prepare and submit tax returns, tax payments, and requiredsupporting documents accurately and on time.·Review financial records, invoices, and accounting entries toensure proper tax treatment.·Ensure compliance with applicable tax regulations, companypolicies, and reporting requirements.·Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual tax reports andreconciliations.·Maintain accurate tax records, documentation, and filing systemsfor audit and reference purposes.·Support internal and external audits by preparing tax schedulesand responding to documentation requests.·Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations and highlight theirimpact on company operations.·Identify tax risks, reporting errors, or compliance gaps andrecommend corrective actions.·Coordinate with finance, accounting, and external consultants toresolve tax-related matters.·Assist in preparing tax provisions, withholding tax reports,VAT/sales tax reports, and other statutory filings as required.Requirements·Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a relatedfield.·Minimum 3 years of experience in tax accounting, generalaccounting, or a similar role.·Good knowledge of tax regulations, accounting standards, andfinancial reporting procedures.·Experience preparing tax returns, reconciliations, and statutoryreports.
