Technical Sales Engineer (NDT & Industrial Inspection)

Key ResponsibilitiesMarket Development: Identify and capture growth opportunities across Africa, executing strategic plans to penetrate key industrial sectors.Distributor Management: Empower and strengthen our distributor network through technical mentorship, joint sales visits, and performance development.Pipeline Execution: Proactively generate and qualify leads, driving complex technical deals from initial engagement to successful closure.Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a trusted advisor to End-Users, EPCs, and Inspection Service Providers to influence technical specifications and promote value-added solutions.Technical Excellence: Deliver high-level product demonstrations, application support, and technical evaluations for NDT methods (UT, PAUT, Eddy Current, RVI).Training & Knowledge Transfer: Conduct workshops and seminars to elevate the technical capabilities of both customers and partners.Strategic Reporting: Maintain rigorous pipeline hygiene and forecasting using CRM tools to ensure data-driven decision-making.Qualifications & ExperienceEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Materials Science) or a related technical discipline.Experience: Proven track record in Technical Sales or Business Development within the NDT or industrial inspection space.Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of NDT methods, specifically Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Phased Array (PAUT), Eddy Current, and Remote Visual Inspection (RVI).Industry Network: Established connections with Oil & Gas operators, Tier-1 inspection service providers, or large industrial asset owners is highly preferred.Travel: Ability and willingness to travel extensively (>50%) across Africa and occasionally to regional headquarters in the Middle East.Language RequirementsEnglish: Native or Full Professional Proficiency (Required).Arabic: Highly desirable.French: A significant advantage for North and West African markets.
