We're opening applications for Training & Quality Specialist— interpreters who will step off the queue temporarily to lead training sessions for new interpreter cohorts and then return to their regular interpretation duties.This is a unique opportunity to broaden your impact, build leadership skills, and contribute directly to shaping the next generation of high-quality medical interpreters at Reviver Global.Key Responsibilities: Deliver live virtual training sessions for medical interpreter cohorts, preparing them to provide accurate, professional consecutive interpretation in healthcare settings via phone and video platforms. Ensure interpreters develop the required linguistic, cultural, ethical, and technical competencies to effectively support communication between patients and providersSupport onboarding by introducing new interpreters to company protocols, HIPAA regulations, interpreter ethics, call flow, and professional phone/video etiquetteFacilitate practical interpreting exercises and provide real-time coaching, guidance, and feedback to strengthen performance and confidenceEvaluate interpreter readiness throughout training, document outcomes, and submit clear pass/fail recommendations with supporting notesMonitor live and recorded calls through side-by-side evaluations and post-call reviews to assess quality in medical consecutive interpretationProvide timely, constructive feedback and document performance trends in alignment with QA workflows and standardsIdentify skill gaps or recurring challenges and collaborate with Training and Quality teams to implement targeted improvement plansReport insights, recurring issues, and training outcomes to relevant stakeholders to support continuous improvementParticipate in calibration sessions to ensure fairness and consistency in evaluations and scoringContribute to the enhancement of quality assurance tools, scoring methods, and benchmarksEscalate critical issues that may impact patient safety, interpreter accuracy, compliance, or client satisfactionQualifications: Minimum 2 years of professional experience in consecutive medical interpretation (phone / video)Strong command of consecutive interpreting skills and medical terminologyCompleted all mandatory internal trainingsStrong communication and facilitation skills in both English and the target languageComfort using Zoom, Microsoft Teams or other remote delivery platformsAbility to commit full-time during the training engagement period (duration to be specified per batch)Strong time management skills to be able to adhere to deadlinesPowered by JazzHR8kzPNGUv0K
