Job SummaryThe Treasury Supervisor leads the company's day-to-day cash management operations, ensuring sufficient liquidity to support business activities and financial obligations, also oversees treasury team performance, monitors banking transactions, and provides accurate treasury reporting to support management decision-making.The role is responsible for forecasting cash flows, managing banking relationships, optimizing cash utilization, supervising treasury activities, and ensuring compliance with internal controls and financial regulations. The Treasury SupervisorJob DescriptionCash Flow Management Monitor and analyze daily cash positions and liquidity requirements. Prepare and maintain short-term and long-term cash flow forecasts. Ensure the company has sufficient funds to meet operational and financial obligations. Analyze cash flow trends and recommend actions to improve liquidity and working capital management.Banking & Treasury Operations Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions. Negotiate banking services, fees, and facility terms when required. Oversee daily treasury operations, including payments, collections, fund transfers, and deposits. Monitor bank accounts and ensure timely reconciliation of all transactions. Manage banking instruments such as Letters of Credit (LCs), Letters of Guarantee (LGs), and other financial facilities where applicable.Risk Management Identify, assess, and mitigate treasury-related financial risks. Monitor exposure to interest rate fluctuations, foreign exchange risks, and liquidity risks. Support the implementation of risk management strategies and treasury controls.Compliance & Internal Controls Ensure all treasury transactions comply with company policies, approval matrices, and financial regulations. Maintain accurate records and supporting documentation for treasury activities. Support internal and external audits by providing required treasury information and documentation. Recommend and implement process improvements to strengthen treasury controls and operational efficiency.Team Leadership & Coordination Supervise, guide, and develop treasury team members. Review and monitor the accuracy of treasury transactions and reports. Coordinate with Accounting and Finance teams during monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities. Assist in setting team objectives, allocating workloads, and evaluating performance.Reporting & Analysis Prepare treasury reports, cash position reports, and liquidity analyses for management. Monitor key treasury performance indicators and provide recommendations for improvement. Support management in financial planning and decision-making through accurate treasury insights.RequirementsJob RequirementsEducation Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Commerce, or a related field.Experience 5 to 8 years of experience in Treasury, Corporate Finance, Cash Management, or Accounting. Experience in construction, engineering, contracting, or large corporate organizations is an advantage.Technical Skills Strong knowledge of treasury operations, cash flow forecasting, and liquidity management. Experience dealing with banks and financial institutions. Proficiency in ERP systems. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Knowledge of bank reconciliations, financial reporting, and treasury controls.
