Key Job ResponsibilitiesSupervise and ensure quality medical care provided to inpatients.Conduct regular ward rounds and follow up on patient management plans.Ensure adherence to clinical guidelines, patient safety standards, and infection control policies.Manage daily ward operations to ensure smooth patient flow and bed utilisation.Coordinate admissions, discharges, and transfers in collaboration with nursing and medical teams.Ensure accurate and timely medical documentation in patient records.Participate in developing and implementing ward policies and procedures.Lead and coordinate physicians, nurses, and allied healthcare staff within the ward.Support staff scheduling and coverage to ensure adequate staffing levels.Promote teamwork, discipline, and a positive working environment.Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to patient care and ward efficiency.Investigate and report incidents, complaints, and adverse events.Participate in quality improvement initiatives and accreditation activities.Act as a communication point between patients, families, and hospital management.Coordinate with other departments (ER, ICU, diagnostics, pharmacy) to ensure continuity of care.Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and case discussions. Bachelor's Degree in Medicine.MBA, TQM, or Hospital Management Diploma holder.Experience 2-4 Years in Medical Administration Field.Strong understanding of inpatient workflows and hospital operations.Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills.Leadership and people management abilities.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to manage conflicts and handle patient complaints professionally.Strong organizational and reporting skills.Knowledge of hospital accreditation standards and patient safety principles.High sense of responsibility and accountability.Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.Patient-centered and quality-driven mindset.Professional ethics and integrity.
