Cairo hosts the vast majority of Egypt's structured summer internship programs — the multinational HQs, the Big-4 firms, the banks, the consulting firms, and Egypt's largest tech companies all recruit their summer cohorts from Cairo-based universities and place students in Cairo offices. Programs run 6–10 weeks (typically June through August), the majority paid at EGP 4,000–12,000 per month. Eligibility is usually 3rd or 4th year undergraduates, recent graduates within their first year out, and Master's students — with some programs targeting a specific university year explicitly. Applications typically open February through April; the highest-volume single month is March. Early applications materially outperform late ones — most programs fill during the first 4–6 weeks after opening. Every Take-Off listing publishes the exact deadline where the employer discloses one.
