New Cairo is the primary business-district growth zone of Greater Cairo, spanning the Fifth Settlement (Tagamoa El Khames) and adjacent developments east of the ring road. The area concentrates the Cairo offices of a growing share of multinationals (Deloitte, EY, PwC, KPMG, Vodafone, Orange, Microsoft, IBM), the country's largest fintech scaleups (Paymob, Money Fellows, Fawry, MNT-Halan), and major banks' new-Cairo HQs (CIB, ADIB, HSBC). Consulting firms, private-equity offices, and the offices of the country's largest real-estate developers (SODIC, Palm Hills, Hyde Park, TMG) are also clustered here. Commuting is dominated by cars and app-based rides — the Cairo Metro does not yet reach the Fifth Settlement, so most employers publish parking + shuttle policies with their listings.
