Job Requirements:Ensuring good management of daily accounting operations, the monthly and yearly closings and reports, and the budget process.Ensuring the finalization of transaction closures, the preparation of the trial balance, and the financial statements on time.Reviewing and verifying the accuracy of financial data and informationPlanning and implementing the company’s resource optimization.Please prepare the annual budget in coordination with other related departments.Ensuring the delivery on time of all requested reports to Egyptian authorities or the Company’s Management.Liaison with the government authorities (i.e., Labor, Tax, and Social Insurance offices) through the assigned tax advisor.Implementing Financial Analysis.Creating and following the SLA agreements.Providing reports regularly, and as directed or requested, to keep the Top Management informed of the operation and progress of the Accounting department efforts.Ensuring that all the Accounting tasks comply with the set quality indicators and priorities.Emphasizing that the procedures, rules, and regulations must be known and applied by the staff.Ensuring Permanent Supervision is performed promptly and that actions are taken if any problems are detected.Setting controls and performance indicators.Coordinating with external auditors on annual reviews.Assessing and developing regularly the technical, managerial and communication skills of his/her team through training and coaching.Following up on conducting regular workshops with his/her team to develop communication between them.Keeping a good communication level with other departments and networksReinforcing team spirit between team members.Appraising the staff every year.Researching and reporting on factors influencing business performance.Advising Top Management on desirable operational adjustments.Reviewing and analyzing the Accounting department procedures and processes for improvement proposals.Making at least once a year a new proposal and imagining alternatives, all for the sake of organizational development and saving materials and resourcesProposing new methods to enhance the staff performance and skills and formalizing the department’s training plan to improve the staff skillsAnticipating any crisis and setting an action plan with corrective actions to be taken to remedy itEducation:Required Education:Bachelor's degree in Accounting from a recognized universityRequired Experience:12+ years of experience in the Accounting fieldLanguage skills:Very good English.Specific Skills Required:Technical Aspects:Knowledge and proficiency in Egyptian Accounting Standards, Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), International Accounting Standards and Statements of Auditing Standards (SAS).International Financial Reporting Standard (IFRS).Ability to understand financial reports.Ability to analyze, evaluate and reconcile financial data to arrive to accurate conclusions and recommendations.Quantitative skillsExcellent computer skillsHuman Aspects:Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsLeadership and organization skillsFormal presentation skillsTeam building and ability to motivate and counsel skillsAnalytical skills and attention to detailsConflict management and problem-solving skillsNegotiation skills and ability to persuade using tact and political senseIndependent, affirmative, sharp and focusedAbility to recognize opportunities for employee development
