This position will be in Damascus, Syria, and the candidate will need to relocatePosition Objective:Own the application-level architecture of the enterprise business application platform, covering backend framework design, frontend architecture, mobile application architecture, APIs, workflows, performance, scalability, release management, and maintainability. Support scalable and integrated enterprise platforms across business applications, web applications, mobile solutions, APIs, databases, and containerized deployment environments.Job Description & Responsibilities:Define and govern the application architecture for backend, frontend, mobile, API, workflow, and integration components.Guide the design of business modules, workflow engines, approval flows, forms, dashboards, and integration services.Review technical designs to ensure application scalability, maintainability, performance, security, and usability requirements are met.Define standards for backend customization, frontend components, mobile application development, API architecture, and reusable services.Ensure application architecture supports high user volumes, field operations, document attachments, image uploads, mobile usage, and workflow processing requirements.Support containerized deployment architecture using OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker, or similar platforms.Coordinate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipelines, environment management, release strategy, rollback procedures, and deployment governance.Review API integrations with ERP systems, IAM platforms, network systems, planning/design applications, reporting platforms, and enterprise integration layers.Identify application bottlenecks and define optimization and performance improvement approaches.Support production readiness activities, including monitoring, logging, error handling, and operational support models.Qualifications & Experience:Minimum 10 years of experience in application architecture, solution architecture, or senior software engineering roles.Strong experience designing enterprise-grade business applications supporting large user environments.Strong backend architecture experience, preferably within Python-based platforms, ERP frameworks, workflow platforms, or modular business applications.Hands-on experience with frontend technologies, including React JS, Angular, Vue.js, or equivalent frameworks.Experience with mobile application architecture using Flutter, React Native, native iOS/Android, or equivalent technologies.Strong experience designing REST APIs, integration services, and application-to-application interfaces.Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server, or equivalent database platforms.Experience with containerized deployment environments, including OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker, or similar technologies.Strong understanding of application performance, scalability, maintainability, and production support models.Hands-on experience with the Odoo framework or similar ERP/business application platforms is preferred.Strong Python backend development experience is required.Experience with Oracle ERP integration, telecom platforms, infrastructure delivery systems, asset lifecycle management, procurement systems, finance applications, and workflow-driven platforms is considered an advantage.Experience with file handling, image uploads, geotagging, offline/online mobile synchronization, and field data capture functionalities is preferred.Experience working with system integrators or large enterprise implementation teams is preferred.Preferred Certifications:Cloud-native application architecture certification.Kubernetes or OpenShift certification.Odoo technical certification or proven Odoo project experience.Secure software development certification.Agile, DevOps, or software delivery certification.
