Job SummaryThe Architectural Engineer is responsible for preparing, reviewing, and coordinating architectural designs, drawings, specifications, and technical documents for construction projects. The role ensures that all architectural deliverables comply with project requirements, applicable codes, quality standards, and client expectations while coordinating effectively with structural, MEP, procurement, and project teams.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign & Technical Coordination Prepare and review architectural drawings, shop drawings, and construction details. Coordinate architectural designs with structural, MEP, and other disciplines to ensure design compatibility. Review consultant drawings and specifications and identify discrepancies or conflicts. Assist in developing architectural solutions to technical and construction challenges. Ensure compliance with local regulations, building codes, and project specifications.Technical Office Activities Prepare material submittals, technical submittals, and architectural method statements. Review and process Requests for Information (RFIs) related to architectural works. Prepare quantity take-offs and support cost estimation activities when required. Review contractor, supplier, and consultant submissions related to architectural scope. Maintain proper documentation and records of all architectural deliverables.Project Support Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and procurement teams regarding project requirements. Participate in project meetings and provide architectural input and recommendations. Monitor project progress related to architectural activities and highlight potential risks.RequirementsQualifications & RequirementsEducation Bachelor's Degree in Architecture Engineering or a related field.Experience Minimum 3 years of experience in architectural engineering, technical office, or construction projects. Experience in contracting or construction companies is preferred.Technical Skills Strong knowledge of architectural design principles and construction methods. Proficiency in AutoCAD. Good knowledge of Revit and BIM processes. Familiarity with architectural detailing and shop drawing preparation. Experience in reviewing material and technical submittals. Understanding of building codes and construction standards. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.Soft Skills Strong communication and coordination skills. Good analytical and problem-solving abilities. Attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Teamwork and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work effectively under pressure.
