Assistant HSE Engineer

Key Responsibilities:Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with HSE standards.Support the implementation of HSE policies, procedures, and guidelines across construction sites.Assist in the investigation and reporting of accidents and incidents under the guidance of the Senior HSE Engineer.Coordinate and support safety training sessions for staff and contractors on HSE policies, procedures, and best practices.Record and report safety incidents, near misses, and corrective actions in a timely manner.Maintain and update HSE records, including training logs, inspection reports, and equipment certifications.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or a related field3+ years of experience in HSE or safety-related roles within the construction sector.Knowledge of OSHA, NEBOSH, and other safety certifications is preferredStrong attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills.A world of opportunityGleeds is a place to be part of something bigger.
