We are searching for a Regional CAD/BIM Design Technician to join our client's Operations Design team. In this role, you'll create, update, and refine both 2D and 3D models using AutoCAD and Revit. You'll also modernize legacy drawings, manage data from point-cloud scans, and support innovative automation efforts. With a strong focus on innovation, advanced CAD/BIM processes, and automation, they consistently deliver high-impact results and seamless collaboration with stakeholders worldwide.Job Responsibilities:Create and maintain precise 2D drawings and detailed 3D models in AutoCAD and Revit, covering building layouts and logistics setups.Transform legacy 2D drawings into accurate, current BIM models, ensuring compliance with BIM Execution Plans (BEP).Generate accurate 3D reference models from point-cloud data.Coordinate closely with various teams to identify and resolve design issues promptly.Provide specialized views, data extraction, and detailed layouts for comprehensive design packages.Offer design assistance to field engineers by developing composite layouts and managing RFI responses.Support ongoing initiatives in generative design and process automation.Key Requirements:Bachelor's degree in architecture, Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience).Minimum 3 years of professional CAD/BIM drafting experience in architecture, engineering, or logistics sectors.Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit; familiarity with Navisworks and BIM 360 is highly desirable.Experience handling point-cloud data for 3D modeling.Excellent organizational skills with proven ability to deliver results within tight deadlines.Strong communication skills, capable of interacting effectively across diverse technical teams.Fluent in English (written and spoken).Job Conditions:Location: Cairo, Egypt (EMEA Design Hub)Work Mode: Office-basedWork Benefits:Competitive salary aligned with industry standards.Medical and social insurance coverage.Generous paid leave and public holidays.Professional training and career development opportunities.Collaborative and growth-oriented workplace.
