BIM Design Engineer

The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing and leading the full design process from ideation to production. You will draw new designs and update our current designs. During the creation process, you will ensure that our designs meeting all necessary design responsibilities. What you’ll doServes as the technical link between traditional engineering design and digital construction workflows. responsible for creating, managing, and coordinating data-rich 3D models to ensure a project's constructability and accuracy before breaking groundFollow up CDE set up process Modeling & Management: Develop and maintain detailed, intelligent 3D,4D &5Dmodels (Architectural, Structural, or MEP) using software like Revit Clash Detection: Use tools like Navis work to identify and resolve spatial conflicts between different building systems Technical Coordination: Combine models from various disciplines into a single "federated model" to ensure seamless interdisciplinary collaboration.Documentation & Quantity Takeoffs: Generate precise shop drawings, construction documents, and automated Quantity Takeoffs (BOQs) directly from the BIM model to support project costing.Standard Compliance: Ensure all digital work adheres to industry standards (like ISO19650) and the project's specific What you'll needSoftware Proficiency: Mastery of Autodesk Revit, Navisworks and specialized tools Civil 3D.Engineering Knowledge: A strong understanding of construction methodologies, building codes, and engineering principles (Civil, Structural, or MEP).Data Management: Familiarity with CDE or BIM 360.Education & QualificationsEducation: A bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Electrical Engineering or Architecture Engineering, or a related technical field is typically required.Certifications: Professional certifications from Autodesk or recognized BIM bodies Experience: 2–4 years of hands-on experience in BIM modeling and coordination.
