The Budget Manager is responsible for preparing, reviewing, and monitoring budgets, ensuring proper allocation of financial resources, controlling expenditures, and providing accurate financial reports to support management decision-making.Key ResponsibilitiesBudget Planning & PreparationLead the preparation of annual and periodic budgets in coordination with all departments, ensuring alignment with approved strategic plans and financial policies.Participate in financial planning and forecasting activities, including medium-and long-term financial projections to support strategic decision-making.Budget Monitoring & ControlMonitor budget implementation and expenditure performance, ensuring adherence to approved budgets and authorized financial limits.Develop and maintain effective budget control mechanisms to enhance financial discipline and optimize the utilization of organizational resources.Ensure full compliance with approved financial policies, internal controls, and applicable laws and regulations related to budgeting and financial management.Financial Analysis & ReportingAnalyze budget variances (actual versus planned), identify root causes of deviations, and recommend corrective actions to management.Prepare accurate and timely budget performance reports and financial analyses for senior management, highlighting key trends, risks, and improvement opportunitiesCollaboration & Continuous ImprovementCoordinate with finance, accounting, and operational teams to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integration between budgets, financial records, and operational plans.Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by proposing enhancements to budgeting processes, tools, and methodologies to increase efficiency, transparency, and financial control.Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Commerce (Accounting) or Business Administration.CMA certification preferred.Minimum of10 years of experience in the financial field and budgeting, including at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.Strong analytical, technical, and leadership skills.Effective communication skills.
