Strategic Leadership & Business PlanningDevelop and implement the annual business plan for the cosmetics division aligned with company's 3-5 year visionDefine brand portfolio strategy and market positioning across different distribution channelsSet and achieve ambitious targets for revenue, market share, and profitabilityIdentify new market opportunities and growth segments within Egyptian cosmetics marketLead the budgeting process and ensure adherence to financial targets 2. Sales Management (All Channels)Lead negotiations with key modern trade accounts (hypermarkets, supermarket chains, pharmacies with cosmetics sections, beauty retail chains)Develop joint business plans with key retail partnersManage key account relationships at senior levelOptimize sell-in and sell-out performance across modern trade accountsOversee traditional channel distribution network (small pharmacies, beauty shops, independent retailers)Ensure healthy distribution coverage across target governoratesMonitor and improve route-to-market efficiencyField Sales Team ManagementLead, coach, and develop the sales team (Area Managers, Supervisors, Medical Representatives/Sales Reps)Set KPIs, sales targets, and incentive schemes for the sales forceConduct regular field visits to ensure execution excellenceEnsure recruitment and retention of high-performing sales talent 3. Marketing Management (Online & Offline)Develop and execute digital marketing strategy for cosmetics brandsOversee social media presence, influencer marketing campaigns, and content creationManage e-commerce channels (company website, Daraz, Jumia, Amazon.eg, etc.)Lead performance marketing (Google Ads, Facebook/Instagram Ads) to drive online salesTrack and analyze online KPIs: traffic, conversion rates, ROAS, customer acquisition costBuild and manage online community and brand advocacyGuide brand managers in developing ATL & BTL campaignsApprove promotional materials, in-store displays, and shopper marketing activitiesCoordinate product launches and seasonal campaignsManage agency relationships (creative, media, PR, digital)4. Trade Marketing & In-Store ExecutionDevelop trade marketing strategies to drive visibility and off-take at point of salePlan and execute promotional activities across modern and traditional tradeManage in-store visibility, shelf share, and merchandising standardsConduct category management with key retail partnersOptimize trade spend ROI and promotional effectiveness Implement mystery shopping and audit programs to monitor execution quality5. Market Intelligence & Competitive Analysis:Monitor competitor activities, pricing, promotions, and new launchesTrack market trends, consumer behavior shifts, and category dynamicsProvide actionable insights to inform strategic decisionsBenchmark company performance against industry standardsAttend regional and international trade shows/beauty exhibitions to stay currentQualificationsEducationBachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Science, Business Administration, or related field (MBA preferred)Experience10-15+ years of experience in FMCG, cosmetics, industryMinimum 5+ years in senior management role (Sales Director, Marketing Director, or BU Head)Proven experience in both sales and marketing rolesExperience managing modern trade key accounts in Egypt (Carrefour, Spinneys, Metro, etc.)Experience with e-commerce/digital marketing in beauty/cosmetics categoryExperience coordinating with manufacturing/operations teamsUnderstanding of Egyptian retail landscape and distribution dynamics
