Participating in this project could be a pivotal milestone in your career and a significant historical achievement for the region.Today, we are recruiting for a CAD Engineer to join our team in Egypt. This is an excellent career opportunity for professionals looking to join a truly international team in one of the biggest projects of Siemens Mobility.What are my responsibilities?Support in commercial matters for achieving business targets.Prepare, coordinate, and conclusion of CAD layouts and drawings according to project requirement and standards as per project contract.Provide the system layout and drawings in close cooperation with all the subsystems involved within the required time and the necessary quality.Conduct the preparations and processing of site plans, layouts, and sections for railway transportation systems/rail installations and the corresponding premises.Responsible for the identification and documentation of documents with reference to project CDE such as Aconex, LMS, etc.Develop and process equipment plans, cable routes drawings after coordination with the relevant subsystems.Coordinating between subsystems input resolving occurring clashes to ensure workable output.What do I need to qualify for this job?Bachelor’s degree in architectural/civil/electrical engineering or relative.Minimum 5 years of experience, preferably in railway systems.Experience in the assessment of drawings used in building construction and civil engineering.Advanced knowledge of CAD tools (e.g. AutoCAD, Civil3D, MS Visio).Good knowledge of 3D Software for design and coordination (e.g. Revit, Navisworks).Knowledge of project management principles for project realization and execution.Fluency in both written and spoken English.What else do I need to know?As a world leader in developing and producing the most advanced technologies, we improve lives and further human achievements worldwide, while also protecting the climate - all thanks to our employees.
