Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Car Salesperson role. The Car Salesperson will welcome customers to the showroom, actively engage in understanding their needs, and present suitable vehicle options and features. Responsibilities include conducting test drives, explaining pricing and financing options, preparing and processing sales documentation, and following up with customers to support decision-making and after-sales needs. The role involves maintaining up-to-date product knowledge, tracking leads in the dealership’s systems, and collaborating with the sales and finance teams to achieve individual and team sales targets. The Car Salesperson is also expected to uphold high standards of customer service, represent the dealership and Talent Ferry professionally, and contribute to a positive, inclusive showroom environment.QualificationsStrong customer-facing skills, including Customer Satisfaction and Customer Retention capabilities.Excellent Interpersonal Skills and Communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with diverse customers.Experience or demonstrated interest in Automotive Sales, including understanding of vehicle features, benefits, and competitive positioning.Proven ability to work toward sales targets, manage a pipeline of prospects, and follow up consistently.Basic knowledge of sales processes, documentation, and financial concepts such as pricing, discounts, and installment plans.Comfort using digital tools and CRM or lead-tracking systems to record customer interactions and sales activities.High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in business, marketing, or a related field is an advantage.Previous experience in automotive, retail, or other customer-facing sales roles is preferred but not strictly required.Professional, ethical approach to sales, with a commitment to inclusive and respectful customer service.
