If you are detail-obsessed, deadline-driven, and thrive in fast-paced environments, we invite you to help us raise the bar on every production we touch.Role OverviewWe are seeking a hands-on, commercially driven Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead and build the finance function in Egypt within a project-driven environment.This role goes beyond traditional finance reporting, requiring a leader who can build financial structure, enforce discipline, and take full ownership of financial performance across projects—from pricing and tendering through execution and project closure—while acting as a strategic partner to the CEO in driving profitability and business growth.Key Responsibilities:• Build, structure, and lead the entire finance function in Egypt, establishing strong financial policies, controls, and governance frameworks. • Oversee full financial operations, including accounting, reporting, and cash flow management, ensuring accuracy and integrity of financial data. • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in line with accounting standards and management requirements. • Maintain strong financial control and liquidity management, ensuring sufficient cash flow to support operations and project execution. • Lead budgeting and forecasting processes across the company and projects, implementing strict cost control measures. • Lead financial evaluation of projects at pre-award stage, including feasibility studies, cost analysis, and assessment of expected profitability and margins. • Monitor project financial performance during execution by tracking actual vs. planned costs and proactively addressing variances. • Conduct post-project financial analysis to evaluate actual profitability and capture insights for continuous improvement. • Review and approve project pricing, commercial proposals, and participate in tender evaluations to ensure target margins while maintaining competitiveness. • Assess financial risks associated with contracts and projects, supporting informed decision-making prior to commitment. • Act as a strategic partner to the CEO by providing clear financial insights and recommendations to support growth and business decisions. • Prepare and present weekly and monthly financial reports and insights to the CEO, supporting strategic and operational decision-making. • Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions, overseeing financing structures, guarantees, and cash flow optimization. • Ensure full compliance with Egyptian financial regulations, tax laws, and audit requirements while maintaining strong governance. • Oversee company assets and financial records, ensuring proper controls, accountability, and transparency across all financial areas.Candidate Profile:• 10–15+ years of experience in finance. • Proven leadership experience in a senior role (CFO / Finance Director / Head of Finance). • Strong background in project-based industries such as Contracting, Fit-out, Construction, or Events. • Strong expertise in financial planning & analysis, cost control, and financial management. • Proven experience in project financial management, pricing, and tendering. • Experience in building or restructuring finance functions. • Strong understanding of project-driven business models and margin optimization.Technical Skills• Hands-on experience with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics is a plus). • Strong financial modeling, reporting, and analytical capabilities. • Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial systems.Leadership & Personal Traits• Strong commercial mindset with the ability to translate numbers into business decisions. • Hands-on, execution-driven leadership style. • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.Why This Role• Opportunity to build and lead a full finance function from the ground up. • Direct impact on project profitability and business performance. • Strategic partnership with executive leadership. • Exposure to multi-market operations (Egypt, UAE, KSA).
