We are looking for an experienced Senior Commercial Engineer to join our growing team!If you have 10+ years of experience in commercial management within PMC, consultancy, or Tier 1 contracting environments, apply now and be part of delivering high-profile projects.Key Responsibilities:Commercial ManagementManage all commercial activities throughout the project lifecycle.Monitor project costs against approved budgets.Prepare and maintain cost reports and commercial dashboards.Forecast project costs and identify potential financial risks.Cost ControlMonitor project expenditures and commitments.Review cost breakdown structures (CBS) and Bills of Quantities (BOQ).Support budget preparation and cost planning activities.Analyze cost variances and recommend corrective actions.Payment CertificationReview contractors’ Interim Payment Certificates (IPCs).Verify quantities, supporting documents, and contract compliance.Coordinate payment certification with project teams.Variations & Change ManagementEvaluate variation orders and assess their commercial impact.Review contractor variation submissions.Maintain variation logs and support change management processes.Claims ManagementSupport the assessment and preparation of commercial claims.Review contractor claims and supporting documentation.Coordinate with contracts and project teams during claim resolution.Contract AdministrationEnsure compliance with contract conditions and commercial procedures.Support contract interpretation, particularly under FIDIC contracts.Assist in resolving commercial and contractual issues.ReportingPrepare monthly commercial reports.Develop cost forecasts and cash flow projections.Present commercial updates to project management.CoordinationWork closely with Contracts Engineers, Quantity Surveyors, Project Managers, Cost Control Engineers, and Construction teams.Coordinate with clients, consultants, and contractors on commercial matters.Qualifications:Education:Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or Construction Management.Degree in Quantity Surveying or Cost Engineering is preferred.Certifications (Preferred)FIDIC TrainingPMP CertificationPrimavera P6Cost Control / Estimation CoursesExperience:10–15 years of experience in commercial management or quantity surveying.Previous experience within a PMC or Engineering Consultancy is highly preferred.Experience in large-scale or multi-package construction projects.Experience working with Tier 1 contractors is an advantage.
