With paid-in capital of 200 million EGP and an annual turnover exceeding 2.5 billion EGP, Kanawat offers a dynamic, growth-driven environment for retail and commercial professionals.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Commercial Manager – Retail role based in Nasr City. The Commercial Manager will oversee retail sales performance, set and monitor commercial targets, and drive initiatives to increase revenue and profitability across Kanawat Stores. Responsibilities include planning and executing promotional campaigns, optimizing product mix and pricing, and ensuring consistent implementation of retail standards and brand guidelines. The role involves coaching and guiding store teams, analyzing sales and customer data, and collaborating with supply chain and marketing functions to ensure product availability and effective merchandising. The Commercial Manager will also be accountable for monitoring market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform commercial strategies and continuous improvement.QualificationsStrong Communication skills, with the ability to convey commercial priorities clearly across store and head office teams.Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Commerce, or a related field; advanced studies are a plus.Several years of experience in retail or FMCG commercial management, preferably in telecom, electronics, or similar sectors.Proven Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction focus, with experience implementing initiatives to enhance the in-store customer experience.Demonstrated Team Management and leadership capabilities, including coaching, performance management, and cross-functional collaboration.Solid Sales skills, with experience in setting targets, tracking KPIs, and driving retail sales growth.Strong analytical skills, including proficiency with sales reports, dashboards, and basic financial metrics (margins, discounts, inventory turns).Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint); familiarity with ERP or retail management systems is an advantage.
