Learn more at www.dar.com.Role Summary:We are looking for a talented Architect-Computational Designer to join our dynamic Computational DesignTechnologies Team (CDT - Digital Practice, in Cairo office).Responsibilities:Develop and implement computational design solutions using visual programming tools.Support project teams in the application of BIM workflows and advanced design technology.Coordinate and lead research, testing, and implementation of new plugins, software, and modeling techniques.Provide training and technical guidance to project teams on computational design tools and best practices.Collaborate with consultants, internal teams, and project stakeholders to optimize digital design workflows.Lead presentations and technical discussions with project teams and external partners.Create innovative workflows and automation solutions to improve design efficiency and productivity.Troubleshoot technical issues related to BIM, computational design, and digital workflows.Stay up to date with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to design processes.Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful implementation of digital design standards and best practices.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in architecture, Engineering, or a Construction-related field (Master's degree in Computational Design is a plus).2–5 years of experience in the AEC industry with a focus on Design Technology and computational design.Expert proficiency in visual programming tools such as Rhino + Grasshopper, Rhino.Inside. Revit, or Dynamo (Python and C# programming skills are a plus).Advanced knowledge of Autodesk Revit Architecture and related BIM software.Strong understanding of Building Information Modeling (BIM) workflows and techniques.Proficiency in Navisworks, AutoCAD, Revit, Collaboration for Revit, and other 3D modeling software.Experience with design software such as Rhino, SketchUp, Navisworks, and Adobe Creative Suite.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.Autodesk software certifications are preferred.Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present ideas effectively.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and workflow development skills.Ability to learn new technologies and develop innovative solutions when standard workflows are insufficient.** While we carefully review all applications, only candidates meeting the specified requirements will be contacted for further consideration.
