Cost Accounting Manager

The Cost Accounting Manager at BTECH is responsible for leading cost accounting activities and providing financial insights that support business performance and strategic decision-making. This role oversees budgeting, variance analysis, cost control, inventory management, working capital optimization, and financial reporting while partnering with cross-functional teams to enhance profitability and operational efficiency.ResponsibilitiesLead and manage all cost accounting activities to ensure accurate cost measurement and reportingParticipate in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plansMonitor actual performance against budgets and provide detailed variance analysis with actionable recommendationsOversee inventory costing processes and ensure accurate valuation of inventory and cost of goods soldDevelop and maintain cost control systems to improve operational efficiency and profitabilityPrepare and present financial reports, dashboards, and management presentations with clear business insightsPartner with Sales, Procurement, Supply Chain, and Operations teams to support pricing strategies and margin improvement initiativesMonitor and optimize working capital performance across inventory, receivables, and payablesImprove inventory turnover and stock management practicesSupport initiatives to reduce Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) and improve receivables collectionManage supplier payment terms and optimize Days Payable Outstanding (DPO)Monitor and improve the cash conversion cycle to enhance cash flow performanceEnsure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and company policiesDrive process improvements, automation initiatives, and best practices within the finance functionQualifications & SkillsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldStrong experience in Cost Accounting, Financial Analysis, and BudgetingProven expertise in variance analysis and financial performance managementStrong understanding of inventory management, working capital, receivables, payables, and cash flow optimizationAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systemsExcellent reporting, presentation, and stakeholder management skillsStrong analytical, problem-solving, and financial modeling capabilitiesAbility to work cross-functionally and influence business decisions through financial insightsRequirementsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldMinimum 5 years of experience in cost accounting, preferably in manufacturing or production settingsStrong knowledge of cost accounting principles and practicesExperience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or equivalentProficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with reporting tools (e.g., Power BI)Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skillsEffective communication and leadership capabilitiesProfessional certification (CMA, CPA) is preferredBenefitsDiscover the benefits of joining B.TECH: More than just a jobComprehensive healthProfessional development and training opportunities for advancement and career growth Employee discounts High performance and rewarding culture
