Costing & Financial Control Section Head

Job Purpose:The Costing & Financial Control Section Head will be responsible for leading all costing, budgeting, and financial control activities within the manufacturing operation. The role requires strong expertise in manufacturing costing, Oracle Costing Module, inventory control, overhead allocation, cost centers management, and profitability analysis to support strategic financial decisions and operational efficiency.Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage all costing and financial control activities across the manufacturing operations.Develop, maintain, and analyze standard costing systems for manufactured products.Handle monthly inventory counts reconciliation and ensure inventory accuracy.Manage and optimize the Oracle Costing Module and ensure proper costing transactions and configurations.Monitor and analyze material, labor, and overhead costs to identify cost-saving opportunities.Prepare detailed product costing and profitability analysis.Manage budgeting and forecasting activities across departments and cost centers.Analyze manufacturing variances and provide corrective action recommendations.Develop and maintain cost center structures and ensure accurate cost allocation.Calculate and monitor manufacturing overheads and assess their impact on Profit & Loss.Support management with financial insights related to pricing, margins, and operational performance.Participate in feasibility and visibility studies for new projects, products, and operational expansions.Ensure compliance with company financial policies and reporting standards.Coordinate closely with Supply Chain, Production, Planning, and Finance teams to improve cost efficiency.Prepare periodic financial and costing reports for top management.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Professional certifications are a plus (CMA, CPA, etc.).Experience:Minimum 7–10 years of experience in costing and financial control within manufacturing companies.Previous experience in industrial/manufacturing environments is a must.Experience in doors hardware, metal manufacturing, or related industries is highly preferred.Strong hands-on experience with Oracle ERP, especially the Costing Module.
