The Credit Controller manages the day-to-day finance relationship with top accounts across the Gulf regions, ensuring timely collection of receivables, resolution of disputes, and compliance with credit policies. This role is critical for optimizing cash flow, reducing overdue debt, and supporting operational efficiency. Success means embedding Future Ready behaviors-agility, tech fluency, and continuous improvement-while living our values of Ambition, Integrity, Partnership, and Accountability.Accounts Receivable Management* Manage customer accounts receivable ledgers and ensure timely collection of outstanding balances.* Resolve customer disputes and inquiries promptly and professionally.* Oversee cash allocation processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.Process Improvement & Risk Management* Identify and address internal and external process issues impacting collections and Days Sales Outstanding (DSO).* Partner with Sales and order processing teams to reduce invoices in query and improve order entry accuracy.* Work with the Credit Risk team to maintain appropriate credit limits and insurance coverage.Reporting & Forecasting* Provide regular commentary and cash flow predictions to management.* Deliver timely and accurate reporting on accounts receivable performance.Stakeholder Engagement* Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including sales teams, finance leadership, and customers.* Support ad hoc projects and initiatives as requested by management.Must-Have Skills & Experience* Significant experience in a fast-paced credit control environment.* Experience managing accounts receivable and dispute resolution.* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).* Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.* Excellent interpersonal skills-written, verbal, and active listening.* Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.* Analytical mindset with attention to detail and ability to prioritize workload.* Fluent in local market language(s) & business English.Nice-to-Have Skills & Experience* Experience in IT distribution or supply chain environments.* Exposure to multinational or blue-chip organizations.* Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems.* Proficiency in English (for Westcon group reporting), and Arabic.📄 Please submit your CV in English to ensure consistency in our review process.Join a growing global businessWestcon-Comstor is a leading name in IT distribution with US$5.45 billion in global revenues.
